Shakey was born in Wexford in 1986.His career in rap started at the age 15. Shakey recorded his first song Oh Baby in January 2007 after receiving his first pieces of recording equipment from his parents. Shakey has been performing live since the age of 17, and there are very few, if any, who can entertain a crowd like Shakey. During his time in college he hosted the Music Factory. He was given the position of Resident MC after 1 show. He has also performed at many teenage events and has a huge fan base in the young generation. Shakey got together with GMC in 2007 and produced Irish Party. Shakey also appeared and performed Irish Party on TG4s Glas Vegas. The song was first played on Beat 102-103 fm in Waterford. After the first playing of the song on Sunday 16th of March on Beat, the station started receiving hundreds of requests for the song. The recent success of Irish Party has put the song at the No.1 position on www.downloadmusic.ie. This is the song that has now started the Shakey craze that is going to sweep the whole nation by storm.
